Politics derail into politricks all too often and all too easily, and there is a reason for it being so, as there is a reason for the transcendent being hard to grasp.

The more important things are not problems to solve or goals to achieve or values to withold. There are stones in a path, and there is an end in a path, and there is the path itself, but the walking exists only as sensitive feet nimbly step wide.

As much as each and everyone of us must search his own truth, must learn to rely on herself, must become whatever she is, so must the group of all of us outgrow itself and mature and become ever more aware. In time, seeing the process through the lens of time, this is continuity. Survival. It is to be here now and to be here in the long long future. As our body continuously changes and continuously remains the same, in what’s called homeostasis, so does our collective body change continuously and remais the same, and i’ll call it homeosociostasis.

today’s predicament

The world is a mess. To say that something has to be done is naive and misleading. And still we should think about this predicament, we should be interested in it.

Everything is always falling. The world has always been failing. The nations are always dying and the empires are always ending. If you care to think for an instant that (and how) our society is but a flicker of self-righteousness amidst the flow of history, it’ll give you a new perspective — maybe even new ideas. The risk is you’ll also see that there are paths still open, there are ways we still have to go, and then… Will you be confused?

wanna be strong

I want to be strong. I want to be the one who stands when all the shit hits the fan, the one who can still say to be calm and to wait for the opportunity to make things better. I want to be a person that rises and overcomes.

I have been beaten down, and it was hard, and i do fall down some times. I have just. But i am getting over it. I am getting over it fast.

I choose to be strong. That is not the way things are, it is a decision and an effort. It is something you take responsibility for.

Because if someone forces you to choose between you and him, if you don’t chose yourself, if you don’t kill what tries to kill you, then you are sick. And if you are sick you are grinding me down. And there is no Positivist-Enlightenment-Reason-Über-Alles in any of that, it’s only the most basal pull to live.

I want to be strong. And i will.

guidelines for making a world that is worth living in

#1. Do not change the world. Incremental changes always lead to the same old. Create anew.

#2. Do not think big. The true tools and values of any given society are not in its macrostructures, but instead in the day to day social affairs. Focus on the mechanics of living.

#3. Avoid transitions. They hide the false assumption that perfection will arrive some day. Turn fresh beginnings into a habit.

#4. Avoid values at all costs. All social movements led by values and morality derail into dogmatism. Base your actions into ideas that you can turn into metrics.

#5. Assume misunderstandings. Negotiation is not an exception, needed only in problem situations. Negotiations are the centre of society.

#6. Accept violence. Society is not a means to stop us from killing each other, but a better control mechanism for our killing abilities. Learn to use violence consciously.

#7. Be beautiful. Be strong. Be happy. YOU ARE THE WORLD.
